Physiology (knowledge of body functions) is considered the foundation of the medical field. That is why the job of Associate Professor Physiology is not only a teaching job but also an important source of mental training, education and research for the new generation of doctors.
This job is only for those who not only know how to teach but also have a passion for research, improving the syllabus, and developing medical education.
1. Academic Guidance:
Lectures to MBBS and BDS students
Preparing and updating syllabus
Conducting lab classes and group discussions
2. Research:
Research on important issues related to human health
Publishing articles in national and international journals
Guidance to students for research
3. Examinations:
Preparing papers, conducting oral examinations
Transparent and fair marking
4. Student Guidance:
Special support to students who are facing difficulties
Guidance in ethics, research and future specialization
5. Administrative work:
Collaboration with the Head of Department
You have to take care of lab equipments
You have to participate in meetings and committees
6. Clinical Linkage:
Relating the syllabus to practical life
Promoting problem-based learning
Education qualifications:-
You must have a Degree in MBBS or Equivalent (approved by PMDC/PMC)
Any one of the following degrees:
FCPS (Physiology)
PhD (Physiology)
MPhil (Physiology) + Experience
Experience:
At least 5 years as an Assistant Professor
3 research papers published in PMDC/PMC journals
Complete knowledge of physiology
Ability to conduct research and think innovatively
Ability to explain things to students in a simple way
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
Leadership, i.e. the role of a bridge between teachers and students

Salary:
Approx Rs.1,20,000 to Rs.1,80,000 per month (as per Grade 19)
